Results in: "status: ERROR: could not connect - No route to host" As a result I am unable to keep this device updated. DNS functions appear to work as I can traceroute without problems (I think) to valid and working devices via hostnames.

In my case. No NAT Internet connection. No IPTABLES Ping works I can connect to ip's either side of the broken ip. The broken ip says "no route to host" on any tcp port. odd problem. May 05, 2006 · Make sure your card (eth0) is properly configured with correct IP address and router address. Use ifconfig command to configure IP address and route command to setup correct router address. If you prefer to use GUI tools: redhat-config-network – Works on Red Hat and Fedora Linux/Cent OS.
